Slow Cooker Cuban-Style Ropa Vieja Recipe from The Perfect Pantry

Flank steak is a versatile cut of meat, and in this recipe for Cuban-Style Ropa Vieja from The Perfect Pantry, it's cooked in the CrockPot until it's falling-apart tender and then served inside tortillas.  Ropa Vieja means "old clothes" in Spanish, and this type of shredded beef can also be served over beans or rice if you prefer.

  1. I made this Ropa Vieja using a beef roast that I had in the freezer. It was delicious and so easy! I added some minced garlic and extra green chili's to this recipe. Great over rice and in tortillas! I also used the leftovers in homemade enchiladas. YUM!
