Slow Cooker Easy Lentil Chili from Jeanette's Healthy Living

This Easy Crockpot Lentil Chili from Jeanette's Healthy Living can be vegan if you use vegetable broth.  (Photo from Jeanette's Healthy Living.)

I've already mentioned my fondness for lentils, and I love using them in a chili recipe that you can throw in the slow cooker after lunch and have it for dinner that night.  This Easy Crockpot Lentil Chili from Jeanette's Healthy Living is not super spicy, but if you want chile with a bit more heat Jeanette suggests adding a bit of Chipotle or Cayenne chile powder.

This recipe has olive oil, onions, garlic cloves, carrots, celery, chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, dried oregano, dry mustard, crushed tomatoes, salt,  brown lentils, and vegetable or chicken broth.

I hope you enjoy trying this from-scratch slow cooker recipe!  Use this link to get the recipe for Easy Crockpot Lentil Chili from Jeanette's Healthy Living.

Kalyn - I made both the Crockpot Chili and the Quinoa Pilaf and they were outstanding! The chili made about 5 qt. It was so good to get such great results from my slow cooker and my rice cooker. Thanks for linking us up to such a great recipe and a great food blog!
