Slow Cooker Tamale Balls Recipe from Taste and Tell

Slow-Cooker Tamale Balls Recipe
Meatballs with all the flavors of tamales, cooked in the slow cooker with a spicy tomato sauce.  (Photo from Taste and Tell.)

(For Friday Favorites we spotlight past recipes that you may have missed, and I've been intrigued by these Tamale Balls from Taste and Tell ever since I first saw the recipe!)

I love the idea of meatballs cooked in the slow cooker, especially when they have an unusual twist like these delicious-sounding Slow Cooker Tamale Balls from Taste and Tell.  Ground beef and pork is combined with cornmeal, flour, and Mexican flavored spices and then cooked in a tomato and chili powder flavored sauce.

I hope you enjoy trying this from-scratch slow cooker recipe!   Use this link to get the recipe for Slow Cooker Tamale Balls from Taste and Tell.
