Slow Cooker Pork Ragu from Mother Thyme

Pork Ragu cooked all day in the slow cooker and served over your choice of noodles.

This recipe for Slow Cooker Pork Ragu from Mother Thyme starts with a boneless pork loin roast that's nicely browned on all sides.  Then it's cooked on low for 8 hours with canned tomatoes, chicken stock, onion, garlic, grated carrots, a splash of red wine, and what sounds like a perfect assortment of spices.  The shredded pork and sauce is served over your choice of pasta.  Sounds good to me; don't you agree?

  3. Would this be Phase 2 or 3 SB friendly with whole wheat noodles?

  4. Susan, yes it looks like if you use whole wheat noodles this recipe could be pretty good for Phase 2 or 3 (smaller portion for phase 2.)
