(For Friday Favorites we spotlight past recipes that you may have missed, and these pork chops with from-scratch Ranch seasoning sound like a good dinner for any time of year.)

Today I'm drooling over these Slow Cooker Ranch Pork Chops by From Scratch to Plate.  The pork chops have ranch-style flavors but no Ranch dressing packet, making them a perfect "from scratch" version of this.  The recipe starts with making a roux so there will be lots of flavorful gravy to serve over potatoes or rice when you bring this to the table.

Ingredients for this CrockPot Recipe:
  • butter
  • flour
  • chicken stock
  • parsley
  • seasoned salt
  • salt
  • pepper
  • dill weed
  • dried chives
  • onion powder
  • garlic powder
  • pork chops

  1. I'm not a pork eater, so I'm going to try this with chicken thighs!

  2. Lydia, I think that sounds good!
