| Tips for thickening slow cooker soups and stews without using flour or cornstarch! (Photo from AskGeorgie.com.) |
When I launched Slow Cooker from Scratch, I wanted it to be a resource for people who were just learning to use a slow cooker as well as experienced slow cooker users. You may have noticed there's a section above with Reviews and Tips where I've linked to a few posts about basic tips for using the slow cooker. As I add new links to this page, I'm going to feature them as a daily post, and today's tip is How to Thicken Slow Cooker Soups and Stews with Low-Carb Ingredients from nutrition coach Georgie Fear at AskGeorgie.com. Her ideas also work well for gluten-free eating.
I hope you enjoy using this slow cooker tip! Use this link to read How to Thicken Slow Cooker Soups and Stews with Low-Carb Ingredients from AskGeorgie.com.

These kinds of tips are great for me, as I consider myself a slow cooker newbie and haven't ventured all that far beyond the basics. Keep 'em coming, please.
Thanks Lydia! I'm on the hunt for more tips.
