Slow Cooker Chicken Drumsticks with Lemon and Herbs from MSPI Mama

Chicken Drumsticks rubbed with a lemon-oil-herb mixture cook in the slow cooker and create a flavorful sauce for rice.  (Photo from MSPI Mama.)

I'm not a fan of chicken parts with skin in the slow cooker, so when I saw that this recipe for Slow Cooked Chicken Drumsticks with Lemon and Herbs from MSPI Mama started with skinless chicken drumsticks, I was interested.  Then I read how the drumsticks are rubbed with a mixture of lemon juice, olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and how there is a flavorful sauce in the bottom of the slow cooker when the chicken is done, and I decided this was a must-try.  This sounds like a great summer main dish that cooks without heating up the house, and chicken drumsticks are often on sale, so if you have a big slow cooker you might want to double the recipe!

I hope you enjoy trying this from-scratch slow cooker recipe!  Use this link to get the recipe for Slow Cooked Chicken Drumsticks with Lemon and Herbs from MSPI Mama.

I've never tried cooking chicken legs in the slow cooker. This could be the recipe that gets me to try it.

We had this tonight, and it was very good. It was also very easy to make which is key for me as the mother of an almost 3 year old and a 2 month old.
