|"Barbecued" Shrimp, cooked in the slow cooker! (Photo from A Year of Slow Cooking.)|
Before I talk about this delicious sounding CrockPot Barbecued Shrimp from A Year of Slow Cooking, let me talk about the fact that it's Saturday and when I announced the new schedule, I said I'd be posting new recipes on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Then recently I realized that under that schedule, new recipes posted on Thursday would only be featured for one day because of Friday Favorites. Maybe no one but me would even have noticed this change, but I've decided new recipes will now be posted on Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday, with Friday Favorites of course still showing up on Friday. Whew! I'm glad that's settled!
Now, let's talk about New Orleans Style "Barbecued" Shrimp cooked in the slow cooker so you don't have to heat up the house. Stephanie from A Year of Slow Cooking made this for a party and they were gobbled up so quickly she only got a couple herself.
