Let's talk about New Orleans Style "Barbecued" Shrimp cooked in the slow cooker so you don't have to heat up the house.  Stephanie from A Year of Slow Cooking made this for a party and she says they were gobbled up so quickly she only got a couple herself.

We loved these shrimp! I made them a few months ago but reduced the amount of butter and threw in a few ears of corn. fabulous.

How in the world do you keep shrimp from overcooking and getting rubbery in a slow cooker? They cook so fast!

Stephanie cooked it on high for 2 hours, but I'm guessing you could definitely cook it for less.
