If you've managed to get your hands on some rhubarb, here's a great way to cook it without heating up the house.  Everyone knows that rhubarb and strawberries were mean to be together, and this Slow Cooker Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler from 365 Days of Slow cooking sounds like a great dessert for this time of year.  Karen says to make sure you have vanilla ice cream to serve with the cobbler; it's a must!

I have to admit, I haven't been using my slow cooker much this summer, except to cook some beans to stock up in my freezer.

I'm addicted to rhubarb, but it's certainly too hot to turn on the oven. This was just what I needed!
