I love Indian food, and every time I see a traditional recipe it seems I learn a little more about this way of cooking. This Slow Cooker Dalia Bisibele Bhath from Recipes 4 My Daughter is a Vegetarian Cracked Wheat, Toor Dal and Vegetable Stew that's a variation on the traditional South Indian dish called BBB (Bisibele Bhath) because it uses cracked wheat in place of rice. Sushma makes the dish easy by using the slow cooker and also uses frozen vegetables, and this recipe cooks all day while you're at work. When you're ready to eat, just cook the mustard seeds, curry leaves, and chiles in oil (called tempering) and dinner is ready!
