|Slow Cooker Sweet Potato Grits, or use Pumpkin in honor of the season! (Photo from Kitchen Parade.)|
What the people in the U.S. call grits is very similar to the ground corn dish that Italians call polenta, and I love that these Slow Cooker Sweet Potato Grits from Kitchen Parade are made in the slow cooker, even if Alanna cautions that they need to be stirred occasionally. And if you're in the mood, you can make this dish with pumpkin for a perfect Meatless Monday dish for Halloween week. (Alanna also recommends butternut squash, which would be my personal choice!)
