Who knew you could cook tofu in the slow cooker? Certainly not me, but when I read through this recipe for Slow Cooker Honey and Orange Tofu with Broccoli from A Year of Slow Cooking, it all made sense. Put diced extra firm tofu and cut-up fresh broccoli in the slow cooker and cook on low in a flavorful sauce made from soy sauce, orange juice, honey, and garlic. Sounds like a perfect easy recipe for Meatless Monday, and Stephanie says she even got the kids to eat it!

I've never tried tofu in the slow cooker. Thanks for the great idea -- I learn so much from this site.
Thanks Lydia! I'm definitely going to try this myself with a sauce that is Phase One friendly!
