Do you like trying those samples they give out at Costco?  Personally I can never resist trying them (unless it's the kind of junky processed food I know I'd never buy), and in December I tried a new-to-me chicken garlic sausage by Sabatinos that ended up being the inspiration for quite a few recipes!  This Slow Cooker Cabbage Soup with Tomatoes, Chicken-Garlic Sausage, and Parmesan from Kalyn's Kitchen turned out to be really a keeper.  If you can't find the sausage I used, any chicken or turkey sausage with good flavor will work.
