(For Friday Favorites we spotlight past recipes that you may have missed, and I think this Slow Cooker Cheesy but Skinny Spaghetti with Turkey Sausage sounds like wonderful comfort food.)

In this delicious-sounding recipe for Slow Cooker Cheesy but Skinny Spaghetti with Turkey Sausage from Skinny Ms., cooked ground beef or homemade turkey sausage (recipe included) is combined with sauce and then layers of meat sauce, dry spaghetti, and a mixture of low-fat cottage cheese, mozzarella, and ricotta fill up the slow cooker.  Skinny Ms. uses good quality organic pasta sauce from a jar for this, but you could use your own homemade pasta sauce if you have it.  I think this sounds like an easy family friendly dinner.
