I'm a fan of split peas pretty much any way you cook them, and this Crock Pot Vegetarian Split Pea Soup with Cauliflower and Smoked Paprika from Kitchen Treaty sounds like a new idea with split peas that would really appeal to me.  Kitchen Treaty is a blog about a vegetarian and a carnivore who are married and cooking together, and the basic recipe here would make a nice Meatless Monday dish.  If you have family members who must have meat, add the optional chopped ham for those folks at the table.

I hope you enjoy trying this from-scratch slow cooker recipe!  Use this link to get the recipe for Crock Pot Vegetarian Split Pea Soup with Cauliflower and Smoked Paprika from Kitchen Treaty.
