Slow Cooker Lemon Honey and Dijon Chicken Dinner from Picky Palate

Chicken breasts, red potatoes, green beans, and pearl onions turn into a delightful dinner in the slow cooker.

I love the sound of this Slow Cooker Lemon Honey and Dijon Chicken from Picky Palate.  First, chicken breasts, red potatoes, green beans, garlic, and pearl onions, cook 6-8 hours on low in the slow cooker with lemon slices.   Then you discard the lemon, shred the chicken, and stir in honey, Dijon, parsley, and fresh thyme to finish the dish.  Jenny served it over rice, and says even her kids ate this (minus the green beans for the kids!)

  1. I do like the sound of this!

  2. This sounds great! I probably wouldn't serve it with rice as there are potatoes in the dish, but that's just me.

  3. Thanks Pam and Lydia. The flavor combination sounded good to me!

  4. Oh, this dish does sound and look terrific! I agree with Lydia on the lack of the need for rice, but I bet my hubby--a rice lover-- would happily eat both, or want the rice instead of potatoes. ;-) Will have to make this one next week as I just made Bacon Chicken last night for us. (Not in the slow cooker though.)
