There'll be lots more Slow Cooker Summer Dinners coming in the weeks ahead, but today I want to share an idea for Slow Cooker Overnight Breakfast Potatoes with Sausage from A Year of Slow Cooking.  Not only is this a delicious-sounding breakfast to wake up to, it's easy to make, uses ingredients you probably often have on hand, and cooks without heating up the kitchen!  Stephanie used chicken breakfast sausage, but pork or turkey sausage would work as well, and I think this easy breakfast combination will be a hit with the whole family; enjoy!

  1. I know this is called a breakfast dish, but if it cooked all day instead of all night, it would be a terrific dinner, too. I'd never have thought of making something like this in the slow cooker. What a great idea.
