(For Friday Favorites we spotlight past recipes that you may have missed, and this Slow Cooker Tomato Sriracha Chicken looks like a great dinner for any time of year.)

Admittedly, I'm a bit of a fanatic when it comes to Sriracha Sauce, the spicy sauce with the rooster on the bottle that you often see on the table in Asian restaurants.  So it's no surprise that when I saw this recipe for Slow Cooker Tomato Sriracha Chicken from my friends Todd and Diane at Best Recipe Box, I immediately bookmarked the recipe.  Just a quick read of the ingredients list convinced me this chicken is going to be packed with interesting flavors, and you can serve this spicy chicken with sauce over rice or noodles, on a bun, or inside a tortilla for a variety of options for a Slow Cooker Summer Dinner.  Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients for this recipe:
  • Boneless and skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • onion
  • garlic
  • canned stewed or diced tomatoes
