Make Macaroni and Cheese in the Crock Pot and keep your kitchen cool!  (Photo from Lynn's Kitchen Adventures.)

Macaroni and cheese is such a delicious meatless dish, that it's not hard to understand why it's become such a classic, and when it's too hot to want to make mac-and-cheese in the oven, Crock Pot Macaroni and Cheese from Lynn's Kitchen Adventures will probably be a hit with your family.  You need to cook the macaroni before you put this in the slow cooker, but then there are only four more ingredients to add.  Lynn says she used to make a type of slow cooker macaroni and cheese that included canned soup, but now her family likes this version better.
