In this recipe for Slow Cooker Asian Short Ribs from Healthy Green Kitchen, the short ribs cook all day in a slightly-spicy sauce that features Asian flavors like soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar,  and garlic.  Then you skim any fat from the cooking liquid, simmer on the stove to reduce it, and serve the resulting sauce over the meat.  The fall-off-the-bone tender meat can be served over rice, or inside lettuce wraps, and absolutely everything about this recipe sounds perfect to me.

Ingredients for this Crock Pot Recipe:
Tamari wheat-free soy sauce, honey, brown rice vinegar, toasted sesame oil, garlic, hot chili pepper, beef short ribs.  Optional suggestions for serving:  Toasted sesame seeds, Boston lettuce, chopped cilantro and/or green onions, cooked rice.
