(For Friday Favorites we spotlight past recipes that you may have missed, and I think these amazing-looking slow cooker meatballs from Gimme Some Oven definitely deserve your attention.)

Football season is here, and if you're planning any kind of get-together that includes game-day food, I think you need this recipe for Slow Cooker Easy Meatballs (with Smoked Paprika Sauce) from Gimme Some Oven.  From-scratch meatballs cook for 4-6 hours in the slow cooker in a sauce of crushed tomatoes and smoked paprika, and your friends will gobble them up!  Ali says these meatballs can be cooked on the stove, but why would you want to do that when the slow cooker version is so easy?

Ingredients for this CrockPot Recipe:
  • Ground beef or pork
  • breadcrumbs
  • onion
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • dried thyme
  • dried oregano
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • garlic
  • eggs
  • canned crushed tomatoes
  • smoked paprika
  • chopped fresh basil or parsley for garnish.
