Tomorrow I'm heading out to spend some holiday time with my family and I'll be taking about a week off from this site.  Last year I ended the year with Twenty Tempting Slow Cooker Dinners from 2012, and before the year ends I promise to get back here and bring you my dinner picks for 2013!  But before I switch to celebrating mode, here's one last slow cooker idea for the holidays.  I think this Healthy Slow Cooker Spinach Artichoke Dip from The Yummy Life looks amazing, and it's perfect for a holiday party.  Happy Holidays everyone, hope you have a nice time no matter what you're doing to celebrate.

Ingredients for this recipe:
Canned artichoke hearts, frozen spinach, part-skim Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, low-fat Greek yogurt, reduced-fat cream cheese, garlic, red pepper flakes, black pepper, red bell pepper (optional).

  2. Lydia, I have a 1.5 quart one that's perfect for dips! You can never have too many slow cookers, that's my theory.

  3. I love my small crock pot, it's prefect for dips at parties and family get-togethers. I may have to try this one for New Year's Eve - most artichoke spinach dips call for mayo, of which I am not a fan.
