Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup by From Scratch to Plate

Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup Recipe
Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup with no packaged mixes involved.  (Photo by From Scratch to Plate.)

I love everything about this Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup by From Scratch to Plate, especially the fact that the soup doesn't use a packaged brown and wild rice mix and the use of coconut milk for more flavor with less fat.  I'm also excited to see turmeric here, which I think is an ingredient that really goes with the chicken and coconut milk.  You can add carrots if you'd like more veggies, or leave out the chicken for a vegetarian version of this dairy-free soup.

Ingredients for this recipe:
Chicken stock, water, salt, pepper, turmeric, onions, garlic, coconut milk, wild rice, brown rice, boneless and skinless chicken breasts, cornstarch.
