I enjoy Indian flavors, but sometimes I can be intimidated by long ingredient lists and unfamiliar preparation methods.  That might be partly why this Slow Cooker Butter Chicken from Living Lou sounds so appealing.  This recipe uses ingredients I would normally have on hand, and I think the combination of flavors here sounds delicious.  Louisa says she created the recipe with her favorite Indian take-out in mind, and she was thrilled with the result.

  3. That looks amazing! I love Butter Chicken. It's typically gluten free as is this recipe, but it's not always safe to eat at Indian restaurants due to cross contact issues, so it's really nice that this dish can easily be made at home. Thanks to you both!

  5. This was absolutely delicious! I did find it a bit too salty, but fixed that by mixing in some additional nonfat plain yogurt right before serving. The leftovers tasted even better the next day!
