Slow Cooker Key Lime Pie from A Year of Slow Cooking

Slow Cooker Key Lime Pie sounds like a delicious summer dessert!

It's summer, which often means parties and celebrations happening more often than usual.  And sometimes you might want to take some kind of a dessert to a summer party, which is where this Slow Cooker Key Lime Pie from A Year of Slow Cooking comes in.  Not only can you cook this completely in the slow cooker without heating up the house, but Stephanie says, "Make this! You'll LOVE it!!" And I believe her; this sounds wonderfully good.  (This can be gluten-free if you use gluten-free graham cracker crumbs like Stephanie did.)

Ingredients for this CrockPot Recipe:
  • Graham cracker crumbs (gluten-free if desired)
  • melted salted butter
  • brown sugar
  • lime zest
  • egg yolks
  • sweetened condensed milk
  • fresh lime juice
  • fresh lemon juice
  • For the slow cooker: warm water
