Slow Cooker Pulled Chicken Sandwiches from Cook the Story

Sweet and spicy pulled chicken topped with melted cheese!

In this recipe for Slow Cooker Pulled Chicken Sandwiches from Cook the Story, bone-in chicken thighs cook all day in a spicy sauce until the chicken falls off the bone, then the shredded chicken is piled on buns and goes under the broiler with cheese.  As you can see from Christine's photo, the result is a family-friendly the whole family will love.  With minimum time with broiler turned on I'd definitely consider this a perfect Slow Cooker Summer Dinner, but this would taste great any time of year.

Ingredients for this CrockPot Recipe:
  • Ketchup
  • brown sugar
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Tabasco sauce
  • vinegar
  • salt
  • skinless bone-in chicken thighs
  • Dijon mustard
  • shredded cheddar cheese
  • burger buns.
