We've been talking about Slow cooker Summer Dinners, and here's another slow cooker recipe that sounds like a good option for spring or summer dinner. Lydia says this Slow Cooker Korean-Style Chicken from The Perfect Pantry can be served warm, but she likes it even better cold and it can also be served at room temperature. So no matter what the weather happens to be doing that day, this chicken will be a tasty option.
Trimmed and sliced chicken breasts cook in a flavorful sauce, and when the chicken is done the sauce is thickened, strained, and served over the chicken. The flavors in this slow cooker chicken mimic the spicy-salty flavors of Korean barbecue, and it uses ingredients you can probably find in a well-stocked grocery store.
