Cook the meat for these Greek Chicken Pita Pockets in the slow cooker, and keep the house cool!

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Greek food, so when I spotted these Slow Cooker Greek Chicken Pita Pockets from Mel’s Kitchen Cafe on Pinterest, I knew I had to feature them here. Boneless, skinless chicken breasts cook with Greek seasonings on low until the chicken is fall-apart tender; then the chicken is shredded apart and served in pita pockets with yogurt, tomatoes, cucumbers, and red bell pepper. Doesn’t that sound like a perfect Slow Cooker Summer Dinner?
Ingredients for this CrockPot Recipe:
- boneless and skinless chicken breasts
- lemon pepper
- dried oregano
- For serving: Pita pocket breads, plain yogurt, tomato, cucumber, red bell pepper.
