Karen made this recipe in the Crock-Pot Casserole Crock Slow Cooker, which is perfect for casseroles because you can make a thinner layer and you can brown the top in the oven if you want to. You can of course use a large oval slow cooker to make this, it just won’t look quite as pretty.
