I started making my own beans from scratch when I got my Instant Pot. And I use some and freeze some each time I make them. They are the best! I try never to use canned beans anymore. With a pound of dried beans costing less than a can of beans, it seems to me the most economical option. Also, most of the salt in the canned beans can be eliminated. And I can season them just like I like them using stuff from my own garden!
