I’m always on the lookout for amazing Summer Dinners to share here, so even though this Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken from Diethood was posted as an idea for game day eats, when I spotted this 6-ingredient recipe I immediately thought of what a great summer dinner this would make. And you could substitute the wine for chicken stock and this would be a low-carb meal!
And this couldn’t be easier for a summer dinner. Marinate the chicken for a few hours or overnight and then the chicken drumsticks will cook in the slow cooker while your house stays cool. Katerina serves the chicken with a side of blue cheese dip, or a salad with blue cheese would make a perfect side dish for a summer dinner.

- chicken drumsticks (drummettes)
- Frank’s Red Hot Sauce (or other buffalo sauce)
- dry wine
- vegetable oil
- minced garlic
- dried parsley
