If you’re familiar with the cooking of Morocco, you know a tagine is the name of a clay pot used to cook amazing Moroccan stews, as well as the dishes cooked in that type of pot. And although Andrea comments that tagines aren’t normally made in an electric slow cooker, I think this Slow Cooker Chicken Tagine with Chickpeas and Root Vegetables from Andrea Meyers is a brilliant idea. There are some fun Moroccan ingredients adding flavor to the chicken, chickpeas, sweet potatoes, carrots, celery root, and new potatoes used in the stew.
