Slow Cooker General Tso’s Chicken sounds easy and delicious for a family dinner, and this recipe is gluten-free if you use gluten-free soy sauce.
I was actually looking around for a completely different type of slow cooker recipe when I spotted this Slow Cooker General Tso’s Chicken from 365 Days of Slow Cooking, and immediately I was hungry for Chinese food and wished I had some of this in the slow cooker.
And this slow cooker chicken dinner couldn’t be easier. Just cut up the chicken, whisk together the sauce ingredients, pour the sauce over the chicken, and turn on the slow cooker! Cook some rice at dinner time (or serve over salad or cauliflower rice for a lower carb option) and you’re good for dinner.
This may not be an authentic Chinese recipe, as you can see from the ingredients, but I bet your family won’t mind a bit!
