Slow Cooker Recipe for Barbecue Country-Style Ribs from Shocking Delicious

Barbecued Country-Style Ribs, cooked in the slow cooker!  (Photo from Shockingly Delicious.)

(For Friday Favorites we spotlight past recipes that you may have missed, and I think these Slow Cooker Barbecued Country-Style Ribs would make a great summer meal for a day when you're having too much fun to worry about dinner.)

You may have noticed I'm on a bit of a mission to show people how using the slow cooker is a great option during the warmer months when you don't want to heat up the house!  I think these Slow Cooker Barbecue Country-Style Ribs from Shocking Delicious sound like a great summertime meal.  This recipe does use commercial barbecue sauce, but if you want to make your own, I recommend my own Low-Sugar Barbecue Sauce.

I hope you enjoy trying this from-scratch slow cooker recipe! Use this link to get the recipe for Slow Cooker Barbecue Country-Style Ribs from Shocking Delicious.

  1. Kalyn, I'm on that mission, too. In fact, I use my slow cookers more in the summer than in the winter. The kitchen stays cool, I stay cool, and we still get great food on the table.

  2. Now I'm wishing I'd picked up some country-style ribs when they were on sale recently! These look sooo good!

Have a Happy 4th, Kalyn! Hugs,

  3. Lydia, so true!

Shirley this is just how my mom used to make them, but she used the oven.
