(For Friday Favorites we spotlight past recipes that you may have missed, and this Slow Cooker Herbed Balsamic Pork Roast from Cafe Johnsonia looks like a great thing to cook over the weekend and have for leftovers during the week!)

Pork roast is one of those perfect slow cooker meals, and this Slow-Cooker Herbed Balsamic Pork Roast from Cafe Johnsonia caught my eye with the simple but perfect combination of flavors.   Lindsey says you can cook it all day on low, or use high for 4-6 hours.  When the meat is tender, reduce the flavorful sauce and pour it over the pork and dinner is served.

Ingredients for this recipe:
Pork shoulder or loin roast, balsamic vinegar, honey, dried rosemary, fresh or dried thyme, bay leaves, sea salt, fresh ground black pepper.

I have made this recipe several times and it is delicious. My family loves it. My favorite way to serve it is over brown rice topped with sauteed mushrooms, onions and chopped kale.
