You can never have too many easy chicken recipes for the slow cooker, and this tasty-sounding Slow Cooker Chicken Thighs Osso Buco from Simple Nourished Living goes into the slow cooker in minutes, and about four hours later you have flavorful chicken for dinner.  When it's done garlic, lemon zest, and chopped parsley is combined to make Gremolata to sprinkle over the dish, which is where it gets the name Osso Buco.  Martha served this with potatoes, but I think it would also be delicious over rice.

Ingredients for this recipe:
Canned tomatoes, reduced sodium chicken broth, carrot, celery, flat parsley both chopped and whole sprigs, minced garlic, salt and pepper, boneless and skinless chicken thighs, grated lemon zest.

  4. Good recipe! The celery lends a really nice flavor. I forgot the chicken broth but it still turned out great. If you like a thicker tomato sauce, you might use crushed tomatoes instead of diced. I'll definitely make this again.
