Red Wine and Maple Lamb Shanks from Hello Little House

Lamb is one of those foods I associate with Easter, along with ham, asparagus, and hard-boiled eggs.  I've shared how you can use your slow cooker to make Leg of Lamb for Easter, but this Slow Cooker Red Wine and Maple Lamb Shanks from Hello Little House is made with less-expensive lamb shanks that are cooked all day in the slow cooker with onions, garlic, beef stock, red wine, and maple syrup.  All those flavorful ingredients also create a delicious gravy while the lamb is getting meltingly tender.
