I haven't come across too many recipes for lamb in the slow cooker, but I love, love, love lamb and I think this Slow Cooker Lamb Stroganoff from Recipe Girl sounds like an especially good recipe using it!  The recipe combines all the techniques that make Beef Stroganoff such a popular dish, with an added bonus of the distinctive flavor of lamb. I know not everyone loves lamb like I do, but for those of you who enjoy this flavor, this sounds like a must try dish.

Ingredients for this recipe:
Boneless lamb sirloin or leg, olive oil, reduced-sodium beef broth, baby bella or white mushrooms, sweet onions, Dijon mustard, garlic, bay leaf, salt, fresh ground black pepper, light sour cream, flour, dry sherry, chopped Italian parsley, noodles (for serving))
